The Oknha Mong Port (OMP), was the first Private Investment Sea Port in the Kingdom of Cambodia, it is located in Keo Phos village, Chroy Svay commune, Sre Ambil district, Koh Kong province. It consists of 64 ha of land. Construction started on January 01st, 2003. OMP is also the most important economic outlet and the future core of commercial, industrial and tourism development.
The OMP commenced operation in August 01st, 2004.
In the first step, the port concrete was constructed with 309m long 20m wide and 5m depth along 1,700m pier.In the second step, OMP plans extend the port with 200m long, 20m wide and 7m depth. The company expects this project will be completed not longer than 24 months. The new port will then be available for international big vessels with a loading capacity of more than 5,000 tons.

Oknha Mong Reththy Port was officially inaugurated on 02 Dec 2004 presided by Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. It was a prestigious ceremony with the attendance of the high ranking officials of the royal government, NGOs, national and international reporters, employees, staffs and more than 6,000 people.

The OMP was start the business since August 01 2004. Now the port is under going Joint Venture Co., Ltd September,2006. We please to let you know about out quotation of dues & charges together with agency fees as follows:

I/ PORT DUES & CHARGES FOR VESSEL:

1- Berthing charges :Ship's GRT x USD 0.12

2- Channel Dues :Ship's GRT x USD 0.30/time

3- Tonnage dures :Ship's GRT x USD 0.25/time

4- Tug Assistance :USD 100.00/Hour (Compulsory)

5- Pilot charge :USD 100.00/Hour (Compulsory)

6- Mooring & Unmooring : USD 25.00/Time

II/ Port Dures & Charge for lighter carriage.

1-Berthage Charges :Ship's GRT x USD 0.12

III/ Stewedoring & Storage Charges:

1-Cement in sling (2 tons/sling) :USD1.40/ton

The task of navigators and pilots is to navigate national and inter-national vessels in & out of OMP.

The time (hour) in Koh Kong province as well as the whole Kingdom of Cambodia is equal

ABOUT STAFF & POLICY

OMP staff policy is follow to the Cambodia Labor law and regulation, At the Present OMP was hire the reguler staff 170Persons(the permanant employees of OMP), and was hiring contractor worker with 9 Group and each group about 30 to 50Persons for load or unloading from the boat to the truck and the truck to boat.

Working hours is : 8hours per day and 6day per week.

7:00 to 11:00 Morning.

13:00 to 17:00 Afternoon.

Night 19:00 to 21:00 ( Over time pay ) if need and requested by the customer.

Sunday working:

7:00 to 11:00 and 13:00 to 17: 00 (Holday working) if requested by customer.

For the OMP permanant staff the lowest level can get at lease 50USD (fifty USDollars) per month salary pakage not includ any allowance and Over time pay.

ALLOWANCE

-OMP provide 45USD ( Forty USDollars) per month for food allowance for all staff level,

-OMPProvide gasolice for the operation staff 30USD (thirty USDollars) Per month.

-OMP Provide the new brand motor cycle for the operation sfaff with gasolice.

-OMP Provide cellcard allowance for management staff from 25 to 40USD (up to level of staff and usage)

ACCOMMODATION

OMP Staff can stay in very convineince accommodation the provide by company full set of Bed, case, blanket, fan, TV and some equipment for use, Electricity and water fee paid by Company within the limitation.
